Living and working in newcastle

Newcastle has something for everyone – culture, heritage, interesting coastal regions and countryside, National parks, good transport links, great night life and plenty of retail outlets.

The city has a packed events programme, including its own yearly ‘Fashion Week’ and free open-air screenings of ‘Movies at the Monument’ and its very own pop-up beach on the Quayside. Moving outside of the city, both beach and countryside are accessible within just 30 minutes. Why not visit Hadrian’s Wall, Durham Castle and Cathedral, Bamburgh Castle and Harry Potter’s home at Alnwick Castle and Gardens.

The Baltic Art Gallery has attracted international interest and the Grade 1 listed Theatre Royal has a packed schedule of ballets, operas, plays, musicals and pantomimes. Music lovers are spoilt for choice with both the Metro Radio Arena and the Sage as well as other venues for live music and comedy!
